How did you get into nannying?

I’ve always enjoyed working with children and was looking for a meaningful change in my career. That’s when I came across Mini Connections Nanny Agency, and it felt like the perfect fit.

How did you connect with Mini Nanny Agency?

I applied for a nanny position I saw advertised online. From the very beginning, my experience with Mini Connections has been amazing. The professionalism, the positivity, and the prompt communication really stood out. The team is so supportive and welcoming.

What does a day in the nanny life look like for you? 

My day is split into two shifts. I help with the morning routine and school drop‑off, then return in the afternoon for school pick‑up and after‑school care until around 6pm. It’s a lovely balance and allows me to really connect with the children.

What are some of your favourite parts of being a nanny? 

Being part of the children’s lives is incredibly special. I love hearing about their day, playing games, and doing activities together. Watching them grow and learn is such a privilege.

Do you have any nanny hacks that make the day run more smoothly?

Being organised and bringing a calm, happy energy into the day makes a huge difference. Children really respond to that.

What makes you feel really appreciated? 

Clear and open communication from parents. It creates trust and makes working together feel easy and respectful.

What’s your favourite activity to do with kids?

Playing games! Seeing children laugh and have fun is the best part of my day.

What advice would you give someone who is looking to become a nanny?

Go for it! Give it a try — it’s incredibly rewarding, and you’ll enjoy it more than you expect.

What do you love doing in your spare time? 

I love spending time with family and friends, and I also enjoy making candles in my spare time.

Do you have a life motto or mantra that you live by? 

Rain before rainbows.
